Stephen Boyd said when he left for “The Fall of the Roman Empire,” that he looked forward to working in sunny Spain for the winter.
Now he writes from a mile-high location in the Sierra Guadarrama Mountains 40 miles north of Madrid:
“Sunny Spain, ” writes Boyd. “The snow is up to my waist –the temperature is around zero.
“I could take it if I could wear long underwear but you can’t put them on under a Roman toga.”
